busy weekend

Made my first batch of wontons. I don’t think we’ve ever made wontons at my house.

Baked some of them and they were very tasty! Loved the crunchy skin.

Started to carve again and really love my new tools.

Carved a bird. A bird sketch I did a while ago. Loving the process of carving, it’s almost like meditation. Right hand and arm are so sore now but I did have a lot of fun.

Test printed the block on shoji gami

Used the leftover ground pork to make radish bums. The dough was combinations of yeast  bread dough and pastry dough.  Recipe from here.
